| VOTE VOTE ELECTION 2012 VOTE VOTE Dear Highland County Voter, When I ran in 2008 for County Commissioner, I pledged to you to be a full time Commissioner and work diligently to address the issues facing Highland County. In January 2009 when I took office, we were handed the biggest loss of jobs the county had ever seen, the economy was in a downward spiral and we had a large debt. Over the past 3 years, the Commission has worked in concert with the other elected officials to reduce our 12 million dollar budget to 8.5 million while still providing the necessary county services. We have been very active in promoting Highland County while working on business development and job growth in the region. I am committed to being a Full Time Commissioner; to making myself available to constituents and maintaining a Open Door Policy; to good stewardship of the county funds; to sound fiscal management and policies; to continue promotion of job growth and business development in the County; and continue a strong working relationship with all elected officials and County Employees. I would appreciate your vote and support in the 2012 election. |
